Questions and answers

Is the Sunset Trading Shades of Gray china cabinet worth it?
It is a solid choice if you want a large gray display cabinet with wine storage and matching furniture available. At $5,010.62 at The Classy Home as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the top of the price range for china cabinets, so compare against local furniture stores before committing.
How tall is it, and will it fit my ceiling?
The full unit is 80.5 inches tall: a 36-inch buffet plus a 44.5-inch hutch and a 3-inch top molding. Measure your ceiling and any doorway on the delivery path, since the hutch alone is 44.5 inches tall and 58 inches wide.
Does it have lights, and what kind?
Yes. The hutch has three halogen lights to illuminate the display shelves. Halogen bulbs get warm, so keep them off when the cabinet is unattended for long periods.
How many wine bottles does it hold?
The buffet base has four wine bottle compartments, each about 3.5 inches high. That is enough for a few bottles on hand, not a full cellar.
Is it one piece or two?
It ships as two pieces: a 58-inch-wide buffet base and a separate hutch. That makes it easier to move through doorways, but the assembled unit still weighs around 265 lbs.
When is the price lowest?
Large furniture like this often drops during holiday sales and clearance events. The current best is $5,010.62 at The Classy Home as of November 5, 2026, so check price history before buying.
