Is this cord safe for a 50-amp RV?

It is rated to 50 amps at 125 volts, or 6,250 watts. Confirm your RV's inlet and pedestal match that rating before use, since many 50-amp RVs expect 120/240-volt service.

What plugs does it have?

One end is a NEMA 14-50P male plug for the pedestal and the other is a NEMA 14-50R female receptacle for the RV cord or inlet.

How long is it and how heavy?

It is 25 feet long. A 50-amp cord of this length is heavy and stiff, so plan for two hands when coiling it.

Can I use it in rain?

The sheath is flame-retardant and heat-resistant and rated for outdoor use. Keep connections off wet ground and use a pedestal cover where possible.

Does it come with a storage bag?

No. The cord is not retractable and no bag or strap is listed, so bring your own for transport.

The Superior EC5025HL is a 25-foot, 50-amp RV extension cord with a NEMA 14-50P plug and NEMA 14-50R receptacle. It carries 125 volts and up to 6,250 watts over 100% copper conductors in a flame-retardant PVC sheath. It is built for outdoor campground pedestals and 50-amp RV hookups. It is a straightforward, heavy-duty cord rather than a smart or retractable one.
