Is the Supersonic SC-780KT good for a young child?

Yes, for basic use. Google Kids Space and the low price suit a first tablet, but expect a soft screen and limited power for demanding games.

How long does the battery actually last?

The listing claims 34 hours, but the description states 3-4 hours of playtime. Plan on the shorter figure and charge daily.

Does it have 4G, or is it Wi-Fi only?

It lists 4G along with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. Check with the seller that the 4G band works with your carrier before buying.

Can I add more storage?

Yes, via MicroSD, but expansion is listed as up to 32GB, so total storage tops out around 64GB.

Is $74.99 a good price?

It is the best new price among 6 stores as of November 7, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range. It is a fair price for a 7-inch kids tablet with 4G.

What comes in the box?

Expect the tablet, a charger and cable, and basic documentation. A case and screen protector are usually sold separately.
