Is this the same bar that came on my Light Bee X?

Yes. It is the factory OEM handlebar for the X version, part 51150-YQ2A-0100, so it matches the original in diameter, bend and material.

Will it fit the Light Bee S as well?

Surron lists it for both the Light Bee S and X. Both use 31.8mm clamps, so it mounts without adapters.

Do I need new clamps or grips?

No. It uses the stock 31.8mm clamp and accepts the original grips, levers and throttle housing.

Should I buy OEM or an aftermarket bar?

OEM if you want the exact factory bend and fit. Aftermarket if you want a different rise or width, or a cheaper spare, but check the 31.8mm clamp size.

When is the best time to buy it?

Buy before a ride weekend rather than after a crash, since a bent bar can sideline the bike. Watch for sales at Surron parts dealers around holidays.

Our take on the Surron Light Bee X OEM Handlebar (X Version)

This is the genuine Surron replacement handlebar for the Light Bee X (and S), a 31.8mm aluminum bar sold under Surron part number 51150-YQ2A-0100. It is the stock bar, so it fits the original clamps and controls with no adapters and matches factory geometry. Buyers typically need it after a crash bends the original bar, or want a spare before a hard ride. No price was available for this listing, so it cannot be compared against its recent range here.
