Is the Suunto Race good for trail running?

Yes. Multi-band GNSS, a barometric altimeter, a digital compass and up to 50 hours in full GNSS mode suit long trail runs and races. The 49mm case is large, so try it on if you have small wrists.

How long does the battery last?

Suunto rates it at up to 16 days in daily use, about 50 hours in full GNSS mode and up to 200 hours in low-power Tour mode. Heavy GPS and always-on display use cut those figures.

Does it work with iPhone and Android?

Yes. It pairs over Bluetooth with the Suunto app on both iOS and Android for notifications, syncing and route planning.

Is the Suunto Race worth it at $249.95?

At $249.95 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a strong price for a titanium, sapphire, multi-band GPS watch. It undercuts most comparable Garmin and Coros models, though it lacks music storage and payments.
