Is the Ranger Plus worth it for the price?

At $673.32 at Home Depot as of November 7, 2026, it is a fair price for a cedar set with three swings and a slide. Cheaper sets use less durable wood or fewer play stations.

How much space do I need?

The set measures about 144 inches long, 131 inches wide and 92 inches high. Leave extra clearance around the swing path and slide exit for safe play.

Swing-N-Slide rates it for ages 2 to 10. The high-rail wave slide suits younger kids, and the 115 lb per-seat limit covers most children in that range.

Does it come with swings and a slide?

Yes. The set includes two belt swings, a ring/trapeze combo and a plastic wave slide, plus a vinyl canopy. Anchors and some hardware may need to be bought separately.

How long does assembly take?

Plan on most of a day with two adults. Sorting the parts and pre-drilling holes speeds it up.

Swing sets usually drop in late summer and early fall as stores clear seasonal stock. Check the price history before buying in spring.
