Our take on the Swiss Tech Überall CT AUS-8 Steel 10-in-1 Multitool with Shears, Carabiner & Leather Sheath, Ivory

The Swiss Tech Überall CT is a compact pliers-based multitool with 10 functions, built around an AUS-8 stainless steel blade and spring-action shears. It weighs about 4.2 ounces and ships with a carabiner and leather sheath, so it clips to a belt or bag without bulk. The ivory finish sets it apart from the usual black tools. It suits light everyday carry rather than heavy trade work.

Questions and answers

Is the Swiss Tech Überall CT worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a light tool with real scissors and a decent blade steel. If you need heavy pliers or a bit driver, spend more on a full-size tool.
How does it compare with a Leatherman Micra or Squirt?
The Überall CT is pliers-based like the Squirt but adds a larger AUS-8 blade and a leather sheath. The Micra is smaller and scissor-first, with no pliers.
What is included in the box?
The tool, a carabiner and a leather sheath. No bits or extra accessories are listed.
Is the blade steel good?
AUS-8 is a solid mid-range stainless steel. It takes a sharp edge and holds it better than basic 420 steel, but it can spot rust if stored damp.
How big and heavy is it?
It weighs about 4.2 ounces and stands 1.54 inches tall when closed. It fits a pocket or belt sheath without much bulk.
When is the price lowest?
Multitools like this tend to drop around Black Friday and Father's Day sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
