Questions and answers

Do these shades really need no drilling?

Yes. They use a tension or adhesive no-drill bracket system, so no holes go in the wall or frame. Check that your window frame or wall surface is smooth and solid enough for the bracket to grip.

Will they make a bedroom fully dark?

The fabric is blackout, so it blocks most outside light. Light can still leak at the edges unless you mount the shade outside the frame with some overlap.

What size do I need?

Measure the window width and choose a shade at or slightly wider than the opening for an outside mount. The 72-inch height fits tall windows; shorter windows may need trimming.

Are they safe around kids and pets?

Yes. They are cordless, so there is no dangling cord loop. The roller is operated by hand on the bottom bar.

Is $55.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, at Wayfair, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other no-drill blackout shades of the same size before buying.

Where is the Symple Stuff No Drill Blackout Roller Shades 72" H cheapest?
