- Is the Taktick heated throw worth it at $23.81?
- At $23.81 at Triplenet Pricing as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest heated throws you can buy. Expect basic warmth, not premium build. Check the return window before buying, since few stores carry it.
- How does it compare with a Sunbeam or Brookstone heated throw?
- Big-brand throws usually publish wattage, timer and machine-wash instructions, and often add auto shut-off. The Taktick lists none of these. It costs less, but you give up documented safety and care features.
- Can I wash it?
- The listing does not say. Most electric throws are spot-clean only unless the controller detaches, and this one's controller type is not stated. Treat it as spot-clean until the tag or manual says otherwise.
- Does it shut off automatically?
- No auto shut-off is confirmed in the product details. If you plan to fall asleep under it, unplug it or use it only while awake.
- What size is it, and will it cover an adult?
- It is 50x60 inches, roughly a standard throw. That covers a lap and legs on a sofa but will not cover a full adult lying down.
- When is the price lowest?
- Heated throws usually drop in late fall and around Black Friday, and again in January. With only two stores listing it, watch both rather than waiting for a broad sale.
