Our take on the TAKUMI Luggage Sets 5 Piece

The TAKUMI Luggage Sets 5 Piece is a matching hard-shell spinner set in gray, covering carry-on through large checked sizes for a single purchase. Hard shells resist moisture and rough handling better than soft fabric, and spinner wheels make the larger cases easy to roll through airports. At $119.99 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a five-piece hard-shell set typically costs.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth $119.99?
At $119.99 for five hard-shell spinners, the price per case is low. Expect basic wheels and handles rather than premium hardware, which is normal at this price.
What sizes are in a five-piece set like this?
Five-piece sets typically run from a small carry-on up to a large checked case, often around 20, 24 and 28 inches plus two smaller bags. Check the listed dimensions before buying.
Do the cases nest inside each other?
Yes, most five-piece sets nest the smaller cases inside the largest for shipping and storage. That keeps the box compact but means the largest case is the one you store.
Are the wheels and handles durable?
Spinner wheels on budget sets are usually plastic and can wear on rough pavement. Handles are often telescoping aluminum or steel; test them on arrival.
Is a hard shell better than soft-sided luggage?
Hard shells protect fragile items and resist rain. Soft-sided bags stretch and fit into tight overhead bins more easily. Choose based on how you pack.
When is it cheapest?
Luggage sets usually drop around Black Friday, back-to-school and post-holiday sales. The current $119.99 at Amazon is already near the bottom of the usual range.
Where is the TAKUMI Luggage Sets 5 Piece cheapest?
At Amazon, for $119.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the TAKUMI Luggage Sets 5 Piece?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Amazon, Charm & Soul.
