Our take on the TCL 75" Class QM8K Series QD-Mini LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV

The TCL QM8K is a 75-inch QD-Mini LED 4K Google TV, the step-up line above TCL's QM6K, aimed at bright rooms and big-screen movie and sports viewing. It pairs quantum-dot color with mini-LED backlighting, an anti-glare screen, four HDMI ports and hands-free Google Assistant, with Alexa and Siri support. At $1,199.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, making this a strong moment to buy.

Questions and answers

Is the TCL QM8K worth it at $1,199.99?
Yes for a 75-inch mini-LED TV. That price at Walmart as of November 7, 2026 is at the low end of its recent range, and few 75-inch QD-Mini LED sets undercut it.
How does the QM8K compare with the QM6K?
The QM8K is the higher tier: brighter mini-LED backlight, better local dimming and stronger HDR than the QM6K. Choose the QM6K only if the price gap is large.
Does it support 4K or 8K?
It is a 4K UHD set at 3840 x 2160. The 8K label in some listings refers to upscaling support, not a native 8K panel.
What is in the box?
The TV, a stand with legs, a back-panel cover, the Google TV remote and power cable. A wall bracket and HDMI cables are not included.
Will it fit my wall or stand?
It is 72.8 inches wide and 67 lb, so check your stand's width rating and use a bracket rated for at least 67 lb. It is only 2 inches deep, so a slim mount works.
When is it cheapest?
Large TVs like this drop most around Black Friday and the Super Bowl. At $1,199.99 it is already near its recent low, so waiting may not save much.
Where is the TCL 75" Class QM8K Series QD-Mini LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV cheapest?
At Walmart, for $1,199.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the TCL 75" Class QM8K Series QD-Mini LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV?
