Our take on the TCL QM5K Series QD-Mini LED 4K UHD HDR Smart Google TV

The TCL QM5K is a 2025 85-inch 4K Google TV using QD-Mini LED backlighting for high brightness and strong contrast. It runs Google TV with Google Assistant and Alexa support, has three HDMI ports and Wi-Fi 5, and its native refresh rate is 60Hz. The best new price is $258 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, far below what an 85-inch Mini LED set usually costs, so check the listing carefully.

Questions and answers

Is the TCL QM5K good for gaming?
It handles casual gaming, but the 60Hz native refresh rate means it won't match 120Hz sets for fast action. Check for game-mode and VRR support before buying for serious play.
How does the QM5K compare with the QM6K?
The QM5K sits below the QM6K line and shares a similar viewing angle, but the QM6K generally offers higher brightness and better motion handling. The QM5K's edge is price.
What size is the 85-inch QM5K?
The set is 85 inches diagonally, and the stand in its wider position spans about 56 inches, so measure your furniture first. It uses a VESA 300x300 mount for wall installation.
Does it come with a stand?
Yes, two plastic feet are included, along with integrated cable management. A wall mount is not included.
Is $258 a good price for the QM5K?
At $258 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is far below typical pricing for an 85-inch Mini LED TV. That gap is unusual, so verify the seller, condition and warranty before buying.
What is in the box?
You get the TV, the two stand feet and the standard accessories. Confirm the remote and power cable are included with the specific listing.
