Is the TCL QM8 worth it over the QM7 or Q7?

The QM8 steps up in brightness and dimming zones, which shows most in HDR movies and bright rooms. If you watch mostly in a dark room or on a tight budget, the QM7 is close enough for many people.

Is it good for PS5 and Xbox Series X?

Yes. The 120 Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K at 120 Hz with variable refresh rate, which suits current consoles. Enable game mode for the lowest input lag.

How does it compare with OLED?

The QM8 gets brighter and has no burn-in risk, so it suits sunny rooms and news tickers. OLED still wins on black levels and viewing angles, so a dark home theater may prefer OLED.

You get the TV, the two-piece stand, a backlit remote, batteries and a power cable. A wall mount and HDMI cables are not included.

Does it support Dolby Vision and Atmos?

Yes, it handles Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos passthrough, though the built-in speakers won't do Atmos justice. A soundbar or AV receiver gets more from it.

Our take on the TCL QM8 65-inch 4K Mini LED QLED TV

The TCL QM8 is a 65-inch 4K QLED TV with Mini LED backlighting and a 120 Hz panel. It is one of TCL's brightest sets, aimed at HDR movies, sports and console gaming, with Google TV built in and hands-free Google Assistant. It has four HDMI ports, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth, plus an anti-glare screen coating. I don't have a current price or recent price range for this listing, so I can't say where today's price sits.
