Is the Team8 S worth it at $34.99?

At $34.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a cheap way to get front, middle and back yardages. If you want hole maps or slope, spend more on a watch or a rangefinder.

How long does the battery last?

TecTecTec rates it at up to 12 hours, which is roughly three to four rounds. Charge it after every couple of rounds to avoid a dead unit mid-round.

Does it need a subscription?

No. Basic distance readings work without a paid plan; Bluetooth is used to pair and update course data.

It is 2.13 inches tall, small enough to clip to a belt or bag pocket without getting in the way of your swing.

Does it come with a warranty?

The listing states no written warranty. Keep your receipt and check the store's return window before your first round.

Only one new price is listed, $34.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026. Watch for holiday and spring golf sales, when GPS units usually drop.
