Is this lighter worth $6.50?

At $6.50 at Temu as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost refillable option. Expect basic build quality at that price; it suits light indoor use more than heavy daily outdoor use.

What butane does it take?

It is a standard refillable butane lighter, so ordinary canned butane works. Purified butane with low impurities clogs less and helps the ignition last longer.

It is a soft flame, adjustable in height. That is better for candles and pipes but easier to blow out than a jet torch.

Can I use it outdoors?

Only in calm conditions. A soft flame is easily blown out by wind, so it is not a good choice for camping in breezy weather.

The listing describes only the lighter itself. Butane fuel is not included, so buy a can separately before first use.

When is the price lowest?

Only one new price is listed, $6.50 at Temu as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge a low point against. Check the price history before buying.
