The Teton Sports Sierra 16 is a 12-person, four-season canvas yurt-style tent with a single door. Its cotton canvas walls and steep yurt shape shed weather and hold heat better than most synthetic family tents, which is why it is popular for cold-weather base camps and long stays. It is heavy and slow to pitch, so it suits car camping rather than backpacking. No current store price was provided, so check the latest price against its recent range before buying.

Owners of canvas yurt tents like this one tend to praise warmth, weather resistance and space for a group. Common complaints are weight, condensation and the effort of pitching and drying canvas.
