Our take on the The Company Store Premium Breathable Washed Linen Solid Fitted Bed Sheet

A stonewashed European linen fitted sheet from The Company Store, sold in Twin through King and cut to fit mattresses up to 18 inches deep. Linen breathes well and softens with each wash, which is why it costs more than cotton percale or sateen. It is a single fitted sheet, not a set, so flat sheet and pillowcases are bought separately. It rates 4.7 out of 5 from 153 ratings.

Questions and answers

Is this a full sheet set?
No. It is one fitted sheet. Flat sheets and pillowcases in the same linen line are sold separately.
Will it fit a deep mattress?
Yes. The pocket is cut for mattresses up to 18 inches deep, which covers most pillow-tops and mattress toppers.
Does linen sleep cooler than cotton?
Generally yes. Linen is more breathable and wicks moisture, so it feels cooler for hot sleepers, though it is less smooth than sateen.
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low or line dry. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers and reduces breathability.
Does it soften over time?
Yes. The stonewashed linen softens with each wash, and most owners notice a difference after a few cycles.
When is the best time to buy?
The Company Store runs seasonal sales, often around major holidays and white sales in January. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
