Our take on the The Container Store Laundry Cart with Wheels, White

This is a white metal wire-grid laundry cart on casters, sized about 13-3/4 inches square and 23-1/2 inches tall. Two of the casters lock so it stays put while you load or unload. The open wire frame keeps air moving around clothes, which helps damp items dry instead of milking up. Its 2.4-out-of-5 rating from 11 reviews is a warning sign: buyers report the cart is small and the build feels light for the price.

Questions and answers

Is this cart worth it?
Only if you need a very small rolling hamper for a teen room or dorm. Its 2.4-out-of-5 rating suggests many buyers found it too small or too light for the money.
How much laundry does it hold?
The basket is roughly 13-3/4 inches square and 23-1/2 inches tall, so expect about one person's weekly load, not a family's.
Do the wheels lock?
Yes. Two of the casters lock, which keeps the cart from rolling while you load or unload it.
Does it come with a liner or bag?
No liner or bag is listed. The open wire grid means small items can slip through, so a separate mesh bag helps.
Is it good for a dorm or small apartment?
Yes, its small footprint and wheels suit dorm rooms and tight bathrooms. Just plan on frequent trips to the laundry room.
What do buyers say about the The Container Store Laundry Cart with Wheels, White?
