Questions and answers

What keyboards fit in the Double MINI Shell?
Each shelf fits a keyboard up to 53 inches long, 17 inches deep and 7.5 inches high. Most 88-key stage pianos and controllers fall within that, but measure yours first. Custom sizing is available if yours does not.
Does it come with legs?
Yes. It ships with Wurlitzer-style legs, and the shell has a center handle cutout for carrying. The listing does not state a weight, so check with the maker before moving it alone.
Is $1,649.99 a good price?
Only The Piano Shell Company lists it new, at $1,649.99 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no lower store price to compare. Treat it as the maker's list price rather than a deal.
Can I hide cables inside it?
Yes. There are four hidden 2-inch cable holes, one in each back corner and one on each shelf, so you can route audio and power cables out of sight.
Is it worth it over a two-tier keyboard stand?
A two-tier stand costs far less and folds down. The shell buys you the look of a stacked piano rig, felt-lined shelves and hidden cable routing, which matters most for stage presentation.
Can I get a custom size?
Yes. The Piano Shell Company offers custom sizing, which is useful if your keyboards fall outside the 53 by 17 by 7.5 inch shelf limits.
Where is the The Piano Shell Company Double MINI Shell cheapest?
At The Piano Shell Company, for $1,649.99, as of our latest check.
