Is the Ellendale Mid Chelsea true to size?

Most buyers take their usual size. The elastic panels hold the foot without laces, so if you are between sizes, size down for a snugger fit.

Can I wear it in rain or snow?

The rubber lug outsole grips wet pavement, but the nubuck upper is not fully waterproof. Treat it with a nubuck protector before wet weather and brush off salt.

How does it compare with the classic Timberland 6-inch boot?

The Ellendale is lighter, lower at mid-ankle and slips on without laces. The 6-inch boot is taller, heavier and more weatherproof.

What is the shaft height?

It is a mid-ankle Chelsea, so the shaft sits just above the ankle bone. That works with jeans and leggings but not with tall socks tucked over it.
