Is the Titan S100 good for direct sunlight?

No. It is rated for partial sun, so it belongs under a roof, awning or shade. Direct all-day sun can wash out the picture and stress the panel.

What does IP65 mean for an outdoor TV?

IP65 means it is sealed against dust and protected from water jets. It is not meant to be submerged or left in standing water.

Does it have built-in streaming apps?

Yes. It includes Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Paramount, Spotify and YouTube TV, so no streaming stick is needed for those services.

What sound does it have?

It uses a 2.1-channel speaker system with Object Tracking Sound Lite. That is better than most built-in TV audio, but a soundbar is still useful for large patios.

Is it worth it over a regular TV on a covered porch?

A standard indoor TV is cheaper but not sealed against moisture and dust. If the spot is covered and only partly sunny, the S100's IP65 build is the main reason to pay more.

When is the best time to buy it?

Outdoor TVs tend to drop around spring patio season and major holiday sales. Check the price history to see whether the current price is near its low.

Our take on the Titan S-Series S100 Partial Sun Outdoor Smart TV 4K UHD

The Titan S-Series S100 is a 4K QLED smart TV built for covered patios and decks, with an IP65 rating against dust and water spray. It runs streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube TV, works with Alexa and Hey Google, and uses a 2.1-channel speaker system with Object Tracking Sound Lite. Partial-sun rating means it is meant for shaded or covered outdoor areas, not direct all-day sunlight. No current price was provided, so check the price history before buying.
