Is the Tobbi 12V bumper car worth it?

For a toddler or preschooler riding indoors or on a flat driveway, yes. It is a low-speed toy, so don't expect it to keep up with older kids on bigger ride-ons.

Can parents control it completely?

The remote lets an adult steer and stop the car, which is the main reason to choose it for a child too young to drive alone. Check that the remote is paired and charged before first use.

How long does the battery last?

Expect roughly an hour or less of continuous riding per charge, depending on weight and surface. Recharging typically takes several hours.

What surfaces can it drive on?

Smooth, flat surfaces such as indoors, patios and paved driveways. Grass, gravel and slopes will bog it down.

Typically the car, battery, charger and remote control. Confirm the listing includes the battery and charger, since some ride-ons sell them separately.

Kids' ride-ons usually drop around Black Friday, pre-summer sales and back-to-school events. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.

Our take on the Tobbi 12V Kids Electric Ride On Bumper Car with Remote Control

The Tobbi 12V Kids Electric Ride On Bumper Car is a small, round-bodied ride-on for young children, powered by a 12-volt battery and steered either by the child or by a parent using the included remote. It comes in red, blue, purple and light blue. Its appeal is the bumper-car shape and low speed rather than range or terrain ability.
