Our take on the Tomile Foldable Electric Treadmill for Home

The Tomile Foldable Electric Treadmill is a budget home treadmill with a 3 HP motor, a 0.6–6.2 mph speed range and a 10-level incline. It folds to about 46.5 by 22.8 by 5 inches, so it slides under a bed or stands against a wall. The 300 lb load rating and 12 programs are generous for the price class. It is a walking and light-jogging machine, not a running treadmill.

Questions and answers

Is it good for running?
No. The top speed is 6.2 mph, which is a brisk walk or slow jog. Runners should look for a treadmill rated to at least 10 mph with a longer deck.
How much space does it need when folded?
About 46.5 inches long, 22.8 inches wide and 5 inches tall folded. That fits under most beds or in a closet.
Does it have an incline?
Yes, up to 10 levels. Incline makes walking harder and is the main way to raise intensity without running.
What is the weight limit?
300 lb. That is higher than most folding treadmills at this price.
Is assembly hard?
Most folding treadmills in this class take 30 to 60 minutes with the included tools. Two people help when lifting the deck.
When is the price lowest?
Fitness equipment tends to drop during January sales and Black Friday. Check the price history before buying.
