The Top Fin Essentials is a 5-gallon glass desktop aquarium kit that bundles the gear a first-time fish keeper needs: a hood with LED lighting, a power filter, and a 200-watt heater. The black-framed tank measures about 20 by 15 inches with the lid and filter in place, so it fits on a desk or counter. It is aimed at beginners keeping a few small fish rather than a full community setup.

Owners rate the kit highly as an easy entry into the hobby, praising the all-in-one bundle and the look of the glass tank. Many note that the included heater and filter are the weak points and end up replacing them.
