Our take on the TOZO S8 Aura Smartwatch

The TOZO S8 Aura is a budget smartwatch with a round 40mm case, a digital display, Bluetooth connectivity and built-in GPS. It tracks activity, stress, sleep and calories, and supports Amazon Alexa voice commands. Its only recorded price is $39.99, so there is no recent range to compare against yet. At that price it undercuts most name-brand watches with GPS, but expect basic sensors and a plastic build.

Cons
  • Only one price on record, so no proven discount
  • Budget sensors and accuracy are usually a step below big brands
  • Alexa is the only assistant, which limits iPhone users
  • No listed battery life or app ecosystem details

Questions and answers

Is the TOZO S8 Aura worth it?
At $39.99 it is a cheap way to get GPS and Alexa on your wrist. If you need accurate fitness data or long battery life, spend more on a known brand.
Does it work with iPhone?
It runs on Android and pairs over Bluetooth, but Alexa support and app features are built around Android phones. iPhone users get a reduced experience.
Does it have GPS?
Yes, it has built-in GPS, so you can record outdoor walks and runs without your phone.
Is it waterproof?
It is water resistant, which covers rain and hand washing. Do not swim or shower with it unless the manual says otherwise.
What is in the box?
Expect the watch, a magnetic charging cable and a quick start guide. A spare strap is not usually included at this price.
When is it cheapest?
The only recorded price is $39.99 as of October 28, 2026. Budget watches like this often drop during Black Friday and Prime Day sales.
