Is the 3-pack worth it over buying single cameras?

At $189.97 for three cameras, the bundle costs about $63 each, less than most single 2K battery cameras. It suits covering several doors or a yard at once.

How long does the battery last?

TP-Link rates the battery for months of typical use, but heavy motion alerts and spotlight use shorten that. Most owners recharge every few weeks to a few months.

Does it need a subscription?

No. It records to a microSD card in the camera, and cloud storage is optional. You need the Tapo app and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

Can it record continuously?

No. It is a battery camera, so it records motion-triggered clips rather than 24/7 video.

Does it work with Alexa and Google?

Yes. It supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for live view on smart displays and speakers.

Is it weatherproof enough for outdoor use?

Yes, it carries an IP66 rating, so it handles rain and dust. Mount it under an eave where possible to protect the charging port.
