Our take on the Training Collar with Remote 4200ft Range Rechargeable IP67 Waterproof E-Collar with Flashlight

This is a rechargeable remote e-collar for medium dogs with a rated range of 4200 ft, IP67 waterproofing and a built-in flashlight on the receiver. It is a generic, low-cost training collar rather than a name-brand unit like a Sportdog or Dogtra. The listing shows a 4.8 rating from 11 ratings, a small sample, so treat the score as weak evidence. No current price was provided, so check the price history before buying.

Questions and answers

Is 4200 ft range realistic?
In open line of sight, yes, roughly. In brush, woods or around buildings expect a few hundred feet before signal drops. Treat the number as a best case.
Is it safe for a medium dog?
Yes, if you start on the lowest level and use tone or vibration first. Check the contact points sit snug against the skin and rotate the collar position daily to avoid sores.
Is the collar really waterproof?
The receiver is rated IP67, so it survives rain and brief submersion. The remote is not rated the same, so keep it dry.
What comes in the box?
Typically the receiver collar, remote, charging cable, contact points and a strap. Confirm the exact contents on the listing before ordering.
How does it compare with a Sportdog or Dogtra?
