Is the Tulo 8" mattress good for heavy adults?

Probably not. At 8 inches of all foam, it offers limited support for heavier sleepers. Adults over about 230 pounds usually do better with a thicker mattress or one with coils.

How firm is the Tulo 8" Medium?

It is a medium feel, but many owners describe it as firmer than expected, especially in the first weeks. Lighter sleepers tend to find it softer than heavier ones do.

Does the Tulo mattress need a box spring?

No. It works on a platform bed, slatted frame or adjustable base. A solid or slatted base with good airflow is best; avoid a sagging old box spring.

How long does it take to expand after unboxing?

It usually expands within a few hours and reaches full height in about 24 to 48 hours. A slight smell may linger for a few days; air the room out.

Is the Tulo 8" mattress good for hot sleepers?

It is gel memory foam, which helps somewhat, but an all-foam 8-inch bed still traps heat. Very hot sleepers may prefer a hybrid with coils or a cooling cover.
