Questions and answers

Is the TUMI Alpha Bravo Brief Pack worth it?
It is worth it if you want one durable bag that works as both a backpack and a briefcase and you will use the laptop protection and organizer daily. If you only need a light commuter pack, cheaper options do the job.
Does it fit a 15-inch laptop?
Yes. The padded laptop compartment fits most 15-inch laptops, and many 16-inch models fit too. Measure your laptop's sleeve before buying if it is unusually thick.
Can it be carried as a briefcase?
Yes. The straps tuck away and a top handle lets you carry it like a briefcase, which is the main reason travelers pick this model over a standard backpack.
Does it fit under an airplane seat?
It generally fits under most economy seats as a personal item, though it is a fairly deep bag. Check your airline's personal-item dimensions if you fly budget carriers.
What is in the box?
The bag itself, with no accessories included. Add your own luggage tag and lock if you check it.
When is the best time to buy it?
TUMI bags see the deepest discounts during Black Friday and end-of-season sales, and older Alpha Bravo colors drop further when a new version launches. Watch the price history for a dip below the recent range.
