Our take on the Tydimor LED Metal Bed Frame

The Tydimor is a captain's-style platform bed with an upholstered, lighted headboard and built-in under-bed storage drawers. It comes with slats, so a box spring is not required, and it is offered in Twin, Full/Double and Queen. The best new price is $65.97 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no competing price to compare against.

Best forShoppers who want under-bed storage without a separate dresserBedrooms where a reading light at the headboard is usefulRenters or guest rooms needing a slatted platform bed without a box springBuyers on a tight budget for a Queen or Full
Pros
  • Built-in drawers add storage in small rooms
  • Lighted upholstered headboard doubles as a reading light
  • Slats included, so no box spring needed
  • Captain's style gives a taller frame with storage underneath
  • Low entry price at $65.97 for a bed with storage and lighting
Cons
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is limited
  • Frame is listed as wood, not metal, despite the product name
  • No published weight capacity or slat spacing
  • Lighted headboard means a power cord to route to an outlet
  • Few ratings (39) for a furniture item, so long-term durability is unclear

Questions and answers

Is the Tydimor bed frame metal or wood?
The listing names it an LED metal bed frame, but the frame material is specified as wood. Confirm the frame material with the seller before ordering if metal construction matters to you.
Do I need a box spring with this bed?
No. Slats are included, so a mattress can sit directly on the frame. A box spring would add height on top of an already tall captain's frame.
What sizes does it come in?
Twin, Full/Double and Queen. The listed frame dimensions are 61 inches wide and 85.4 inches long, so check your room and mattress size against those figures.
How do the headboard lights work?
The headboard is upholstered and lighted, which means it needs power. Plan for a cord running to a nearby outlet, and check whether the light has its own switch.
Is $65.97 a good price?
Only one store prices it new at $65.97 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no second price to compare. That is low for a bed with drawers and a lighted headboard, but confirm the size that price covers.
What is in the box?
The listing is frame only, meaning the mattress is not included. Slats and the headboard come with the frame; check whether drawer hardware and the light power supply are included.
Where is the Tydimor LED Metal Bed Frame cheapest?
At Walmart, for $65.97, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Tydimor LED Metal Bed Frame?
Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 39 ratings.
