The TYPHON TERROR XVIII Prestige is a 2-ton (about 4,000 lb) mini excavator with a Kubota diesel engine and an enclosed, climate-controlled cab. That cab puts it above the open-station mini excavators usually sold at this price, and the 2-ton class fits through gates and works in gardens and tight lots. The best new price is $4,599 at North Forge Equipment as of November 4, 2026, with 6 stores listing it new. At that figure it sits at the low end of the 2-ton class, where enclosed-cab machines often run several thousand dollars more.
