Our take on the U-Shaped "Florence" Cabinet Knob and Drawer Pulls

The Florence is a zinc cabinet knob with a slim U-shaped profile, rounded mushroom face and a satin bronze finish meant to read as aged brass. It measures 1-1/4 inches across with a 1-3/16 inch projection, and each knob ships individually wrapped with one 1-inch and one 1-3/4-inch breakaway screw. At $6.23 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with three stores pricing it new.

Pros
  • Slim U-shape with rounded face gives a clean, architectural look
  • Satin bronze finish adds warm vintage character
  • Zinc body is solid for a small knob
  • Both 1-inch and 1-3/4-inch breakaway screws included
  • Individually wrapped to prevent scratches in transit
Cons
  • Finish is a plated coating, so it can wear at high-touch spots over years
  • Single knob only; pulls and other sizes sold separately
  • 1-1/4 inch diameter is small for large drawers or appliance fronts
  • Screw length may not fit thick cabinet doors without a trip to the hardware store

About the U-Shaped "Florence" Cabinet Knob and Drawer Pulls

The Florence Antique Brass Cabinet Hardware collection is defined by a slim U-shaped profile with softly rounded faces and clean 90-degree returns. Offered as a compact cabinet knob and coordinating drawer pulls, the design has a streamlined architectural quality while the warm, aged antique brass finish gives it vintage character. Florence is an especially distinctive choice for shoppers seeking antique brass cabinet hardware, U-shaped cabinet pulls, antique brass drawer pulls, modern cabinet handles, vintage cabinet hardware, and decorative kitchen cabinet hardware.

The elongated pulls create a clean horizontal line across drawers and cabinet doors, while the matching knob echoes the same rounded rectangular geometry on smaller fronts. Use Florence throughout kitchens, bathroom vanities, built-ins, wardrobes, and furniture, particularly with Shaker, inset, slab, or warm wood cabinetry. Its balance of simple geometry and aged finish works across transitional cabinet hardware, modern traditional hardware, vintage-style cabinet pulls, furniture hardware, kitchen drawer handles, bathroom vanity pulls, and architectural cabinet hardware.

This item goes well with our Plain Antique Brass Ring Pulls and our other Capri items listed on our website.

Questions and answers

Is $6.23 a good price for this knob?
It is the lowest new price among the three stores listing it as of November 7, 2026, so it is a fair entry point. Cabinet knobs in this style commonly run $4 to $10 each, so it is in line with the market.
What is included with one knob?
One knob and two breakaway screws, one 1 inch and one 1-3/4 inch. You choose the length that fits your door thickness.
Will it match the Florence drawer pulls?
Yes. The knob echoes the same rounded rectangular geometry as the Florence pulls in the same satin bronze finish, so they pair on the same run of cabinets.
What size cabinet front is it suited to?
At 1-1/4 inches across it suits standard doors and small drawers. Large drawers and appliance panels usually look better with the longer pulls.
How do I install it?
Drill a single hole, thread the breakaway screw through the door and snap it to length, then tighten the knob by hand. No special tools beyond a drill and screwdriver.
Does the finish hold up in a kitchen?
The zinc core is durable, but the bronze finish is a surface coating and can dull or rub at the most-touched knobs. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
Where is the U-Shaped "Florence" Cabinet Knob and Drawer Pulls cheapest?
At Amazon, for $6.23, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the U-Shaped "Florence" Cabinet Knob and Drawer Pulls?
