Our take on the Ultimea Skywave F30 3.1.2ch Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos

The Ultimea Skywave F30 is a 3.1.2-channel soundbar with Dolby Atmos, a wireless subwoofer and 300 W of rated power. It aims to add height effects and bass to a TV without a full receiver-and-speakers setup. Its only listed new price is $179.99 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forSmall to mid-size living roomsBuyers adding Atmos height effects on a budgetTV owners who want a wireless subwooferPeople who stream music over Bluetooth
Pros
  • Dolby Atmos with dedicated height channels for overhead effects
  • Wireless subwoofer keeps cable runs short
  • 300 W total power suits most living rooms
  • HDMI, Bluetooth and AUX cover TV and phone sources
Cons
  • No Wi-Fi, so no AirPlay, Chromecast or app-based room calibration
  • No mention of eARC, which matters for lossless Atmos from newer TVs
  • Single-store pricing makes it hard to judge value
  • 3.1.2 setup depends on ceiling shape for convincing height

Questions and answers

Is the Ultimea Skywave F30 worth $179.99?
At $179.99 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, it is a low entry point for a soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and Atmos decoding. Whether it is worth it depends on your room: a low, flat ceiling helps the height channels, and a small room suits its 300 W output.
Does it come with a subwoofer?
Yes. The 3.1.2 configuration includes a wireless subwoofer, which is why the system lists wireless connectivity. You still need to power the subwoofer from a wall outlet.
Will it pass Dolby Atmos from my TV over HDMI?
It has HDMI and supports Dolby Atmos, so a TV with an HDMI ARC or eARC output can send Atmos to it. Check that your TV's HDMI port supports Atmos passthrough, since older sets often do not.
Can I stream music to it?
Yes, over Bluetooth from a phone or tablet. There is no Wi-Fi, so AirPlay, Chromecast and multiroom streaming are not available.
How does it compare with a 5.1.2 soundbar?
A 5.1.2 bar adds rear surround speakers, giving more distinct sound behind you. The F30's 3.1.2 layout relies on front-firing height channels, so it creates overhead effects but less rear separation.
When is it cheapest?
The only listed new price is $179.99 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026. Soundbars usually drop during Black Friday and holiday sales, so watch the price history around late November.
Where is the Ultimea Skywave F30 3.1.2ch Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos cheapest?
At Macy's, for $179.99, 60% off, as of our latest check.
