Our take on the Ultra Mini Pocket Pico Projector with Rechargeable Battery, 1080P Support, Wireless LED DLP for iPhone and Android

This is a tiny DLP pico projector with a built-in rechargeable battery, HDMI and USB inputs, and wireless mirroring via AirPlay and Miracast for iPhones and Android phones. The listing's specs conflict: it claims 2,000 lumens and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio in one place but 60 ANSI lumens, 854x480 native resolution and 1000:1 in the description, so treat the higher figures with suspicion. It is a budget, no-name unit aimed at casual big-screen viewing in a dark room, not a home theater projector. No current price or price history was provided, so there is no basis to call the latest price good or bad.

Best forCasual movie nights in a dark roomPhone mirroring for photos and short videosTravel and dorm use where a TV is impracticalKids' room or backyard screen with dim lighting
Pros
  • Genuinely pocket-sized with a built-in battery
  • HDMI and USB inputs plus AirPlay and Miracast mirroring
  • Short-throw lens can fill a wall from close up
  • Built-in speaker, so no soundbar needed to start
  • Advertised image up to 150 inches
Cons
  • Native resolution is only 854x480; 1080p and 4K are input support, not output
  • Brightness is likely around 60 ANSI lumens, far below the 2,000-lumen claim
  • No brand name, so warranty and support are unclear
  • Built-in speaker will be small and thin
  • Needs a dark room; ambient light will wash out the picture

Questions and answers

Is 1080p support the same as a 1080p picture?
No. The projector's native panel is 854x480, so it downscales 1080p and 4K input to that resolution. It accepts HD sources but does not display true 1080p detail.
How bright is it really?
The listing gives two figures: 2,000 lumens and 60 ANSI lumens. The 60 ANSI figure matches what pico projectors this size typically produce, so plan on a dark room.
Can I connect my iPhone wirelessly?
Yes, it supports AirPlay and Miracast mirroring from phones. For Android, Miracast support varies by phone model, so check yours before relying on it.
What comes in the box?
The description mentions HDMI and Micro USB cables plus a built-in speaker. A remote or tripod is not listed, so confirm with the seller before buying.
How large an image can it throw?
It is advertised up to 150 inches, but at that size a 480p picture will look soft. A 40 to 60 inch image in a dark room will look sharper.
Is it worth it over a budget 1080p projector?
Only if portability and battery power matter most. A plug-in 1080p projector from an established brand costs more but gives a sharper, brighter picture and real warranty support.
