Our take on the UltraPro OneTouch Backlit Remote Control for Smart TV

The UltraPro OneTouch is a replacement infrared remote for smart TVs, with a fully backlit keypad and support for Vizio, Samsung, LG, Insignia Roku TVs and Fire TV models. It runs on AAA batteries, which are not included, and controls one device at a time. At $9.82 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, so there is little reason to wait for a deeper cut.

Questions and answers

Does the UltraPro OneTouch need batteries?
Yes. It takes AAA batteries, and none are included in the box, so buy a set with it.
Which TVs does it work with?
UltraPro lists Vizio, Samsung, LG, Insignia Roku TVs and Fire TV models. Check your model before buying, since it is a replacement remote, not a universal one for every brand.
Is it worth $9.82?
At $9.82 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, it is a cheap way to replace a lost or failing remote, especially if you want backlit keys. It will not add voice control or app shortcuts your original remote lacked.
Does it work through a cabinet door?
No. It uses infrared, which needs a clear line of sight to the TV, so keep it pointed at the set.
Can it control a soundbar too?
No. It is set up for one device, so a soundbar or streaming box would need its own remote.
How do I set it up?
Install AAA batteries and follow the brand code steps for your TV. Expect a few minutes of code entry rather than instant pairing.
Where is the UltraPro OneTouch Backlit Remote Control for Smart TV cheapest?
At Amazon, for $9.82, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the UltraPro OneTouch Backlit Remote Control for Smart TV?
3 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Amazon, Jasco Products Company.
