Is the Ume solar flood light worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you need bright motion light where wiring is impractical. Expect less output in winter and shade, and treat 3000 lumens as a peak claim.

How long does it stay lit on a charge?

Runtime depends on sun exposure and how often the motion sensor fires. On a full sunny charge it typically covers a night of occasional triggers; overcast days shorten that.

Does it need direct sunlight?

Yes, the panel needs several hours of direct sun to charge the battery. Mount the panel where shade from trees or eaves won't block it.

The two-pack includes two light heads with built-in solar panels, mounting hardware and instructions. Batteries are built in.

Is it hardwired or battery only?

It is fully wireless, running on solar-charged batteries. There is no mains connection, so it works on sheds and fences far from power.

When is the price lowest?

Solar flood lights usually discount around spring and summer outdoor sales and Black Friday. Check the price history chart before buying.
