How much tape is in the pack?

Four rolls, each 180 feet long and 1.98 inches wide. That is about 720 feet total, enough for roughly 100 to 150 average cartons depending on how much you use per seam.

Does it work with a standard tape gun?

Yes. The 1.98-inch width is the common size for hand-held tape dispensers, and one dispenser is included in the pack.

Is hot melt adhesive better than acrylic for boxes?

Hot melt grips corrugated cardboard quickly and holds well in normal room conditions. Acrylic tape is the better choice for cold storage or freezing temperatures.

Will the tape stay clear on the box?

It is clear and glossy, so printing and labels underneath stay readable. Expect some visible shine and wrinkles where the tape overlaps.

When is the best time to buy?

Packing tape sells steadily, so the best price usually comes from comparing multi-roll packs during back-to-school and moving-season sales. Check the price history before buying a single pack.

Our take on the Universal Heavy-Duty Box Sealing Tape with Dispenser

Universal Heavy-Duty Box Sealing Tape is a four-roll pack of clear 1.98-inch packing tape, 180 feet per roll, with a hand-held dispenser included. The hot melt adhesive is built for sealing and packaging boxes, and the glossy clear finish keeps labels and box printing visible. It is a general-purpose carton tape rather than a specialty or extreme-temperature tape. No current price was provided, so compare it against other four-roll heavy-duty packs before buying.
