UNS 45S - 5.9 Gallon Ultra Clear Rimless Aquarium

Product Overview

The UNS 45S 5.9 Gallon Ultra Clear Rimless Aquarium provides an expansive, shallow canvas for nano aquascaping. Belonging to the "S" (Shallow) series, the 45S prioritizes wide horizontal space and generous front-to-back depth (11.02") over traditional vertical height. This low-profile aquarium delivers an immersive top-down viewing experience and an open footprint ideal for classic Iwagumi stone layouts, shallow nature ponds, or hybrid paludariums featuring emergent plant growth.

Key Features & Benefits

91% Diamant Ultra-Clear Glass: Premium low-iron glass eliminates the green tint found in standard aquariums for true-to-life color accuracy.

45° Mitered Edges & German Silicone: Precision-cut 45-degree mitered joints double the bonding surface area for high-performance German clear silicone, forming stronger seams.

Shallow Panoramic Proportions: The low-profile 7.09" height allows for exceptional light penetration, perfect for growing demanding carpeting plants easily, while providing a unique "pond-style" top-down perspective.

Golden Ratio Depth: Generous front-to-back depth offers aquascapers essential breathing room for hardscape perspective, substrate sloping, and plant layering.

Signature Laser-Etched Branding: Features a clean, laser-etched UNS logo in the glass corner for an authentic, museum-quality finish that will not peel or fade.

Acoustic Leveling Mat Included: Includes a pre-cut dense foam leveling mat to absorb micro-vibrations, level minor surface imperfections, and prevent structural stress cracks.
