Is this paint ready to brush on?

It brushes on from the bottle for base coats, but thin it with a little water for smooth layers and fine detail.

Does it need a primer?

On bare plastic, metal or glass, a primer gives better adhesion and truer color; the paint is full opacity over primer.

Can I use it in an airbrush?

It is a brush paint. If you airbrush it, thin it well and expect to test the mix first.

How much does 17 ml cover?

A 17 ml bottle goes a long way on miniatures and small models; large vehicles will use more of the bottle.

Will it wash off clothes?

It is washable while wet, but dried acrylic on fabric can be hard to remove, so clean brushes and spills promptly.

Is it the same as other Vallejo Model Color bottles?

Yes, it is the standard 17 ml Model Color line, so it matches the rest of the range for mixing and storage.

Our take on the Vallejo Model Color Khaki 17ml Acrylic Paint

Vallejo Model Color Khaki is a 17 ml bottle of matte, full-opacity acrylic paint for brush work on models, miniatures and small scale kits. It is a single-color bottle aimed at glass, metal and plastic surfaces and thins with water for layering and blending. The 17 ml dropper bottle is the standard Model Color size, so it fits an existing Vallejo rack. At 4 out of 5 from 825 ratings, it is a well-liked staple color rather than a niche shade.
