Is the Vantrue S1 Pro worth it?

For a dual-channel cam with buffered parking mode and GPS, $135.99 at Vantrue as of November 5, 2026 is a fair mid-range price. Skip it if you need sharp rear footage or built-in cloud without extra hardware.

Does it record the rear window?

Yes. It ships as a two-channel setup with a front unit and a rear camera, and single-channel use is also possible. The rear camera records at 1080p.

How does parking mode work?

Buffered parking mode keeps a rolling clip and saves the seconds before and after a collision is detected. It needs constant power, so plan on hardwiring or a battery pack for 24-hour coverage.

Do I need the LTE module for cloud storage?

Yes. Cloud viewing and remote live monitoring run through the optional LTE module, which is sold separately and needs a data plan.

Expect the front camera, rear camera, rear cable, windshield mount, car charger and basic wiring hardware. A microSD card is usually not included, so buy one rated for dash cam use.

Dual dash cams tend to drop during Black Friday and Prime Day sales. Check the price history on this page before buying.
