Is this headset worth it?

At a budget price it covers the basics: a working boom mic, 50mm drivers and a 3.5mm connection for most consoles and PCs. Expect budget build quality rather than premium audio.

Does it work with PS5 and Xbox?

Yes, through the 3.5mm jack: PS5 and PS4 controllers, Xbox One and Series X/S controllers, PC, Mac and Switch. The LED lighting only works when the USB plug is connected to a powered port.

Is the 7.1 surround real?

No. It is virtual surround-style processing from stereo drivers, not discrete 7.1 channels. It widens the soundstage but does not give positional audio like a true surround headset.

How do I connect it to a PC?

Use the included 1-to-2 splitter: red for the mic jack, green for the audio jack. On laptops with a single combo jack, plug the headset in directly without the splitter.

The headset and a 1-to-2 3.5mm splitter cable (red for mic, green for audio). No USB adapter or carry case is listed.

Budget headsets like this usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Check the price history before buying.
