Is a box spring needed with this bed?

No. It is a platform frame, so the mattress sits directly on the slats and a box spring is not required.

Does the set include a mattress?

No. The three pieces are the queen bed frame and two nightstands. You buy the mattress separately.

How much assembly does it take?

Assembly is required for all three pieces. Expect to attach the frame rails and slats and to build both nightstands, so set aside an afternoon and a second person for the bed.

Will it fit a standard queen mattress?

Yes. It is sized for a standard queen mattress, which is 60 by 80 inches. Confirm the mattress depth suits the frame before ordering.

Are the nightstands sold separately?

Vecelo sells this as a three-piece bundle. If you only need the nightstands, check whether the same model is listed on its own before buying the set.

When is this set cheapest?

Bundle pricing on bedroom sets tends to dip during major sales events and at the start of the year. Compare the set price against buying a queen platform bed and two nightstands separately.
