Velowave Ranger Step-Thru 3.0 Overview

The Velowave Ranger Step-Thru 3.0 is a step through fat tire e-bike with a torque sensor: a 750W rear hub motor that peaks at 1000W and makes 85 N.m, and a removable 48V 15Ah LG battery, 720Wh, inside the down tube. Velowave quotes an average of 65 miles on pedal assist and up to 90 in level 1.

Velowave rates it Class 3: up to 28 MPH on pedal assist and 20 MPH on the throttle, which works from a complete stop. A hydraulic fork with 60mm of travel and a lockout, Kenda 26 x 4.0 inch fat tires, hydraulic disc brakes on 180mm rotors and a Shimano 7 speed take it from city streets to dirt trails. It weighs 78.26 lb with the battery and carries 300 lb.

A rear rack, fenders, a 75 lux LED headlight and a 20 lux brake light come fitted.
