Our take on the Vera Bradley Disney Small Vera Tote

The Vera Bradley Disney Small Vera Tote is a downsized, quilted cotton tote with a Disney floral print, a zip top and six interior slip pockets. At 0.63 lb and 11 L, it carries a phone, wallet, keys and a small tablet without weighing on the shoulder. It is a print-driven accessory more than a workhorse bag. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Cons
  • 11 L is small for a laptop or a full day out
  • Slip pockets only, no zip pocket inside
  • Light quilting means little structure and no padding
  • Disney prints are seasonal and can be hard to replace

Questions and answers

Is the Small Vera Tote big enough for a laptop?
No. At 11 L it fits a small tablet at most. For a 13-inch laptop, look at the full-size Vera Tote instead.
How does it compare with the classic Vera Tote?
It is the same design scaled down, with the same zip top and slip pockets. You trade capacity for a lighter, closer-fitting bag.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Vera Bradley quilted cotton is machine washable on cold and should be air dried. Skip the dryer, which can shrink and fade the print.
What fits inside?
A phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small water bottle and a tablet fit comfortably. Six slip pockets keep the small items separated.
Is the strap long enough for shoulder wear?
Yes, the straps are sized for shoulder carry. It is not designed as a crossbody bag.
When is it cheapest?
Vera Bradley prints get marked down at outlet sales and around Disney promotions. Watch the price history and buy below the recent range rather than at full price.
