Our take on the Vera Bradley Oversized Blanket

The Vera Bradley Oversized Blanket is a 66-by-94-inch throw made of 100% polyester microfleece, big enough to cover a twin or dorm bed and still drape over the sides. It is an outlet-exclusive item, so it is sold through Vera Bradley's outlet channel rather than regular promotions. At 66 inches wide and 94 inches long, it runs noticeably longer than a standard 50-by-60 throw. It is machine washable, which matters for a fleece blanket used daily.

Questions and answers

Is the Vera Bradley Oversized Blanket worth it?
If you want a soft, printed fleece blanket that actually covers a twin bed, yes. It costs more than a plain fleece throw, and the outlet-exclusive status means you will not find it discounted.
How big is it compared with a standard throw?
It measures 66 inches wide by 94 inches long. A typical throw is about 50 by 60 inches, so this is substantially wider and much longer.
Does it fit a twin or dorm bed?
Yes. At 66 by 94 inches it covers a twin mattress with room to drape, and it suits longer dorm beds.
Is it machine washable?
Yes. It is 100% polyester microfleece and can go in the washing machine. Wash cold and tumble low to limit pilling and static.
Can I use a coupon on it?
No. It is an outlet-exclusive item, and discounts and promotions cannot be applied to it.
When is the best time to buy it?
Because promotions do not apply, the listed outlet price is effectively the floor. Watch for outlet clearance events rather than coupon codes.
