Is the Versace Eros Gift Set worth it?

It makes sense if you already like Eros or are gifting it, since you get the EDT plus matching balm and gel. If you only want the fragrance, buying the EDT alone usually costs less.

How long does Eros EDT last?

Most wearers get six to eight hours on skin, with the ambroxan base lingering longer on clothing. The balm and shower gel layer the same scent but add little longevity on their own.

The set includes the Eros Eau de Toilette, a 0.8 oz after shave balm and a shower gel. Bottle sizes vary by set, so check the listed sizes before buying.

Eros EDT or Eau de Parfum?

The Eau de Parfum is denser and longer lasting, with a heavier vanilla and ambroxan base. The EDT is brighter and fresher up top, which suits warmer weather and daytime wear.

Is Eros too strong for everyday wear?

Two to three sprays is enough for most people; more becomes heavy in small rooms. It works best for evenings and cool weather rather than a packed office.

When is the best time to buy this set?

Gift sets are usually discounted around the winter holidays and after them, when retailers clear stock. Watch the price history rather than buying at full list.

Our take on the Versace Eros Gift Set

The Versace Eros Gift Set bundles the Eros Eau de Toilette with an after shave balm and a shower gel in the same scent. Eros is a fresh, woody oriental built on Italian lemon, green apple and mint up top, geranium in the middle and Venezuelan ambroxan at the base, and it is known for strong projection and long wear. The set suits gifting more than solo buying, since the balm and gel are supporting pieces rather than full-size refills.
