Our take on the VEVOR 1/4 Inch 20V Cordless Impact Driver Kit

The VEVOR 1/4 Inch 20V Cordless Impact Driver Kit is a budget cordless impact driver with a 1/4-inch hex chuck, a 20V battery platform and a top speed of 2,800 RPM. It is compact at about 7.3 inches long and 3.2 inches wide, and it ships as a kit with battery and charger. VEVOR sells it well below the price of name-brand 18V and 20V impact drivers, which is its main draw.

Questions and answers

Is the VEVOR 20V impact driver worth it?
For light home tasks like furniture assembly and small fastening jobs, it is a cheap way to get a cordless impact driver. For daily trade use or heavy lag bolts, spend more on a brushless name-brand model.
How does it compare with a DeWalt or Makita impact driver?
It costs far less, but it lacks a published torque rating, a brushless motor and multi-speed settings. Those brands also have large battery ecosystems, while VEVOR batteries work only with VEVOR tools.
What is the battery life like?
VEVOR does not publish an amp-hour or runtime figure for the included battery. Expect shorter runtime than premium kits, and plan on recharging between larger jobs.
What comes in the box?
The kit is sold as a cordless impact driver with battery and charger. Confirm the exact bit and case contents on the listing before ordering, since VEVOR bundles vary.
Does it take standard 1/4-inch bits?
Yes. The 1/4-inch hex chuck accepts standard impact-rated driver bits and bit holders. Use impact-rated bits, not plain drill bits.
When is the price lowest?
VEVOR tools are frequently discounted during holiday sales and brand promotions. Check the price history on this page before buying to see whether the current price is near its low.
What do buyers say about the VEVOR 1/4 Inch 20V Cordless Impact Driver Kit?
Rated 3.5 out of 5 from 6 ratings.
