Is the VEVOR 20V hammer drill worth it for home use?

For occasional holes in brick or concrete, it covers the basics: SDS Plus chuck, hammer action and a brushless motor. It is not a substitute for a pro rotary hammer on daily jobs.

Does it come with a battery and charger?

A charger is included. Confirm the battery is in the box before ordering, since listings vary.

What bits does it take?

It uses SDS Plus bits, not standard round-shank drill bits. You will need SDS Plus masonry bits for hammer drilling.

How does it compare with a corded rotary hammer?

Corded rotary hammers usually deliver more impact energy for heavy concrete. This 20V tool trades that power for cordless convenience on light home jobs.

The assembled weight is listed at 12.72 lb, which is on the heavy side for one-handed or overhead work.

Our take on the VEVOR 20V Brushless Cordless Hammer Drill

The VEVOR 20V Brushless Cordless Hammer Drill is a home-duty rotary hammer with an SDS Plus chuck, variable speed up to 1,200 rpm and 5,300 blows per minute. It ships with a charger and runs on a 20V battery, so it works away from outlets for light concrete and masonry jobs. The brushless motor and lightweight build are the main selling points.
