Questions and answers

Is the VEVOR 40 in. saucer swing worth it?
At $104.90 at The Home Depot as of November 7, 2026, it is a fair price for a 40 in. saucer swing rated to 440 lb. It suits a backyard with a strong branch or beam more than a yard that needs a freestanding frame.
How much weight does it hold?
The listed maximum load is 440 lb. That covers two children or one adult, though the seat is 40 in. across, so two adults will be tight.
What do I need to hang it?
You need a sturdy tree branch or beam rated for the swing's weight and the people on it. Check that the included rope and hardware reach your branch height before buying.
How big is the swing?
The seat is 40 in. in diameter. Allow several feet of clear space on all sides, since a saucer swing travels in a wide arc.
Is it safe for young children?
The 440 lb limit and wide seat suit older kids and adults best. Younger children should be supervised and may do better on a swing with a full bucket seat and harness.
When is it cheapest?
Saucer swings usually drop in price in late summer and around holiday sales. Compare the three stores listing it new before buying.
Where is the VEVOR 40 in. Saucer Swing Set for Backyard cheapest?
