Is 1.5 HP enough for my well?

It suits shallow wells up to about 25 ft of suction lift. For deeper wells you need a convertible or submersible pump, not this jet pump.

Can it run on 115 V or 230 V?

Yes, it is wired for either. It draws about 12 A at 115 V and 6 A at 230 V, so match the breaker and wire gauge to the voltage you choose.

Does it come with a pressure tank or switch?

Usually not. Most listings are the pump only, so budget for a pressure tank, switch and fittings if you are building a pressurized system.

How deep can it pull water from?

About 25 ft of vertical lift. Keep the suction line short and airtight, since shallow jet pumps lose prime easily with air leaks.

Is it good for a garden sprinkler?

Yes, that is a common use. It can feed sprinklers or drip lines from a tank or shallow well, but check flow at your head height before sizing the system.

Watch the price history around spring and early summer, when pump demand rises, and compare against fall and winter lows. Set a price alert rather than buying at the first listing you see.
